Almost Famous
Writer and Director: Cameron Crowe
Starring: Billy Crudup, Frances McDormand, Kate Hudson and Phillip Seymour Hoffman

Another teen movie with intelligence, heart and one that has one of the greatest music, movie moments of all time. Anybody who has seen this film will never forget the scene on the bus, where they sing Tiny Dancer.
Gladiator
Writers: David Franzoni, John Logan and William Nicholson
Director: Ridley Scott
Starring: Russell Crowe and Joaquin Phoenix

"My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius. Commander of the Armies of the North. General of the Felix Legions. Loyal servant to the true Emperor,Marcus Aurelius. Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife – and I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next." Need I say more? Ok I'm getting lazy here but I have been working on this all day, it's a great quote and..."ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?"
Memento
Writer and Director: Christopher Nolan
Starring: Guy Pearce and Carrie-Anne Moss

A fourth Christopher Nolan film on this list. Memento is one of the most complex and unique movies I have ever seen. Told backwards, this is a tale of a man with short term memory loss attempting to find out who killed his wife. It is a crime that this film did not win Original Screenplay at the Oscars.
